Sally Gould grew up in French’s Forest in Sydney in a house which backed on to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. There she played imaginary games with other kids in her street. After having her second son, she did a writing course and began writing for children. That’s when she decided that writing children’s stories was for her.
