Love Makes the World Go Round: Better Reading Top 100

Every year, as the votes come in from book lovers across the country, it’s fascinating to see what genres people are devouring. Crime, thrillers, classics – readers love them all. But one genre that really dominates the charts is romance, and who doesn’t love a good mushy read?

Of course, McCullough’s The Thorn Birds and Outlander by Diana Gabaldon made the list, along with new classic Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. They’re cornerstones of the romance genre, and for a good reason!

Excitingly, there are quite a few Aussie authors on the list – Rachael Johns with The Art of Keeping Secrets, and Tess Woods with Beautiful Messy Love.

Are there any favourite romance reads that you think should have made the Top 100? Make sure to share them in the comments!

I had to leave all my books in Australia when I moved to NZ. How I wish I hadn’t. Miss my books.

Seeing these books, which I had many of them, made me miss them all the more.
