Great list. My fave May release is a book called ‘I Let You Go’ by Clare Mackintosh. I think it’s being released in Australia via Hachette but with minimal fanfare.

It has an amazing twist part-way through and I’ve never seen so many 5-star ratings before in Goodreads.

It’s almost perfect. (I reviewed it on my blog a few weeks ago and it’s my favourite book of the year so far.)

Thanks Deborah for the heads up on your favourite book of the year. I’ve added it to my list of must reads.

I’m thinking I need to unsubscribe from this list as I’m adding more books to read each time I receive an email and not getting anywhere near as many read. Could that be a recognised illness?

I was disappointed in Sara Gruen’s “The Water’s Edge”. I don’t think it was the standard of “Water For Elephants”…but I guess that was a gem and a hard act to follow.
