Another wonderful Top 10 Bestseller’s Fiction List, filled with so many of our favourite recently reviewed Australian books.
At number one this week is The Girl Who Lived Twice by David Lagercrantz. The sixth Lisbeth Salander story–the crime-fiction phenomenon that has sold more than 90 million copies worldwide.
Boy Swallows Universe, by Trent Dalton is sitting at number two. Dalton’s bestselling saga has won four ABIAs: Book of the Year, Literary Book of the Year, the Matt Richell Award for New Writer of the Year and Audio Book of the Year.
Number three is JD Robb’s new thriller, Vendetta in Death. Book 49 in the bestselling In Death series – Eve Dallas takes on a serial killer dispensing their own form of justice.
Number four is the first book in a brand new crime series, The Long Call by Anne Cleeves.
Tidelands by Philippa Gregory is at fifth place. Set in 1648 England, Alinor is suspected of possessing dark secrets in superstitious witch-mania times.
The next eagerly anticipated, electrifying thriller from number one bestseller and queen of crime, Val McDermid, featuring the unforgettable Tony Hill and Carol Jordan, How the Dead Speak is at number six.
Michael Robotham with Good Girl, Bad Girl is at number seven. An unnerving psychological thriller from one of the greatest crime writers of today.
Eighth place goes to The Dirty Dozen by Lynda La Plante. The bloody-minded Jane Tennison that we know and love returns in the fifth book in Lynda La Plante’s bestselling Tennison series.
The Inn by James Patterson and Candice Fox is at number nine. The Inn is a new novel by the fabulous writing duo, which chronicles a detective who tries to leave his past behind to start afresh in a new town, only to be faced with new criminals to fight.
At number ten is The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris – the incredible story of the Auschwitz-Birkenau tattooist and the woman he loved.
