Children’s Book Week is just around the corner and to save you some time we’ve put all the important information together for you in one place. So, grab yourself a cup of tea, put your feet up and take a moment to read through the following. And yes, Children’s Book Week costume stress is a thing we all suffer!

There are lots of events planned to celebrate around the country, including the awards announcement Friday, August 16. If you are after something local then please check with councils and libraries who often events listed on their websites.

Now take a deep breath and enjoy every minute of a week where your child is surrounded by teachers, librarians, authors and book lovers celebrating books – what could be better than that?
