Calling All Harry Potter Fans

February 4, 2019

Attention Harry Potter Fans – if you’ve ever wanted to share your love of all things Hogwarts and magic with a bunch of like-minded Potter crazed readers, then you’ll need to find out about Harry Potter Book Night ASAP.

Thursday 7th February marks the fifth annual Harry Potter Book Night and the theme is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Since Harry Potter Book Night began in 2015, there have been over 35,000 events organised with over 13,000 organised in 2018 alone, so make sure you check with your local bookshop or library to see what is happening near you.

It hardly seems fair that not everyone is lucky enough to attend a school where the staircases constantly move, portraits talk to each other and students get to study magical lessons such as Potions, Charms, Transfiguration and Herbology.

To soften the blow, publisher Bloomsbury, has created an event kit themed around Hogwarts and with lots more exciting elements yet to be announced, fans of all ages will have the chance to celebrate J.K. Rowling’s wonderful novels – and pass the magic on to young readers who haven’t yet discovered these unforgettable books.

You still have time to sign up your bookshop, library, school or club at harrypotter.bloomsbury.com/au/harry-potter-book-night/ to register for an event kit and to make sure you’re one of the first to hear all the latest Harry Potter Book Night news. It’s also worth noting that some bookshops and libraries host their events on the following Saturday.

There are also some great Harry Potter resources on the website that you can use any time, like a Harry Potter quote generator, trivia challenge, tips from the illustrators and much more.

And you can share your ideas and plans for Harry Potter Book Night on Twitter and Facebook using #HarryPotterBookNight.

You never know, this could be the biggest Harry Potter Book Night 2019 yet!
