Most Recent Book: The Secrets She Keeps was published mid-2017. It is a book about pregnancy and families, jealousy and greed, and how we imagine other people’s lives or families are better than ours, but they’re just as screwed up as we are. The grass might be greener, but that’s because it’s been fertilised with blood and bone. 

How he became a writer: Before his career as a crime novelist, Robotham worked as a ghost writer. While living in the UK, he wrote the autobiography of Geri Halliwell, better known as Ginger Spice. In the earlier stages of his writing career, Robotham worked as a crime reporter for a newspaper, chasing ambulances and police cars.
