The Money Club

Synopsis

Izzy Harrington's fiance is a successful entrepreneur and everyone's friend, but today she's waiting for him to get home so she can tell him they're over. Except Brad never arrives.

Instead, three angry men knock on the door and insist on talking to Brad. When the police arrive asking difficult questions and demanding to see his passport, Izzy's packed suitcases suddenly take on a whole new meaning.

Brad's disappearance sends ripples through their small town and a furious mob camps on Izzy's lawn desperate to recover their losses. They have Izzy in their crosshairs, determined to make her pay for Brad's audacious con.

As the search intensifies, conflicting clues emerge. Clues that suggest no one really knew Brad - least of all Izzy...

A gripping exploration of modern greed as bestselling Australian author Fiona Lowe unpicks the moral quagmire of those who trade on the bonds of their closest friendships and family for money.

          About the author

          Fiona Lowe

Fiona Lowe has been a midwife, a sexual health counsellor and a family support worker; an ideal career for an author who writes novels about family and relationships. She spent her early years in Papua New Guinea where, without television, reading was the entertainment and it set up a lifelong love of books. Although she often re-wrote the endings of books in her head, it was the birth of her first child that prompted her to write her first novel. A recipient of the prestigious USA RITA® award and the Australian RuBY award, Fiona writes books that are set in small country towns. They feature real people facing difficult choices and explore how family ties and relationships impact on their decisions. When she's not writing stories, she's a distracted wife, mother of two ‘ginger' sons, a volunteer in her community, guardian of eighty rose bushes, a slave to a cat, and is often found collapsed on the couch with wine. You can find her at her website, fionalowe.com, and on FacebookTwitter and Goodreads.

Never thought I’d buy into this tech craze but profit’s hard to ignore—crypto’s real. Put $500 in DeFi — got $1100 back in eight months — 120% grudgingly works. NFTs baffled me—$100 buy sold for $450 — 350% luck I guess. AI trading’s surprising — 16% profit in March alone. https://forico.io lays it out — 4.2 ratings on 200+ projects this year Web3’s growing — $1.9 billion in deals Q1 2025 — I’m warming up.

I really enjoyed reading The Money Club – it’s a smart look at how money affects our lives and relationships. Smart money management is very important, especially when dealing with family or close friends. Speaking of money management, I contact moneygram – a reliable service for sending funds quickly and securely, whether it’s to support loved ones or conduct business transactions. Their global reach and ease of use make sending money stress-free, which perfectly matches the practical mindset this book encourages. Definitely worth checking out if you need a reliable way to send money.

Reading The Money Club is a fantastic way to grasp the fundamentals of wealth building and financial literacy because it breaks down complex economic concepts into actionable steps for everyday investors. One can see that as these financial strategies become more global the real success of any investment platform depends on how localized and accessible the underlying transaction infrastructure truly is for the user. This level of technical synergy and regional optimization is exactly what stands out when you look at the specialized development of Ethiopia payment gateway options where the focus is on building a stable ecosystem that handles secure transfers and user engagement with incredible precision.
