Synopsis

Recommended for ages 7+.

A compendium for kids of all things magical and unexplained throughout the ages.

A fascinating look into the secrets of the supernatural world for curious children obsessed with magic and mystery.

This book explores every aspect of magic through the ages and across many cultures. It traces the history of magic ritual from spells and potions to alchemy and divination, as well as investigating other mysteries of the paranormal. While it's a fun read, it takes its subject seriously - taking an historical, comprehensive approach to the supernatural world across all cultures.

Featuring stunning illustrations, Mysteries, Magic, and the Unexplained traces the story of myth and magic from ancient superstitions to medieval alchemy and divination to the modern-day fascination with UFOs. Taking a neutral stance, it explores the facts behind spells, seances and tarot cards, fortune tellers, witchcraft and wizardry, unexplained natural phenomena, and more. This intriguing book will capture the imagination of kids everywhere.

Mystery, Magic and the Unexplained sounds exciting! Reading about the history of myth and magic in different cultures always gets my attention. Somewhat similar to my own experience with tarot cards – discovering the connection between symbolism and history, I am immersed in a fascinating journey through the magical world. Tarot card online reader helps me with this. Therefore, this book should be a fascinating read that will show children the world of supernatural phenomena and magical secrets in an unusual and fascinating light.
