About the author:

Jonathan Van Ness (he/she/they) is an Emmy-nominated television personality, New York Times bestselling author, international touring comedian, podcaster, and hairstylist to the stars. He stars on Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning series Queer Eye, and is the host and executive producer of the Netflix series Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness, based on Jonathan’s popular podcast of the same name. JVN was a 2020 Primetime Emmy nominee for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program along with his Queer Eye castmates. Kamala M. Nair grew up in Kerala, a small state on the southwestern coast of India surrounded by exotic wildlife, stunning beaches, lush green hills, and turquoise backwater. She is a professional architect and a children’s book author and illustrator. She recently illustrated The Way Champs Play, written by tennis champion Naomi Osaka. Kamala loves to travel and be immersed in the beauty of culture, architecture, and people around the world. She currently lives in Kerala.
