What’s the book about?

Felix Green has a talent – a talent that often gets him into A LOT of trouble – he can forsee the future. And he’s not the only one! When his latest prediction comes true, he soon finds himself whisked off to join the secret underground Future Agency. Here he starts to learn the tools to protect the country from the natural disasters set to befall it – summoning animal star constellations down from the sky, dream weaving and speaking to ghosts. Three reasons to read it:

  1. Felix is whisked away to the Future Agency, a hidden underground organization of super-talented kids with the coolest jobs imaginable. They don’t just study boring history, they rewrite the future! Think of it as Hogwarts meets MI6, but with stardust and destiny. What kid wouldn’t want to train with a team of future-seeing, ghost-talking, dream-weaving heroes?
  2. There’s a traitor inside the agency and it’s up to Felix to figure out who it is before it’s too late! This book blends fantasy and mystery perfectly, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. It’s a puzzle that pulls you in and doesn’t let go even long after you’ve finished the book.
  3. At its core, Felix and the Future Agency is about discovering your purpose, learning to trust yourself and finding your people. Felix isn’t perfect, he’s nervous, sometimes unsure, but he’s also brave in all the ways that matter. It’s a powerful message for kids (and a lovely reminder for adults) that being different is often the very thing that makes you extraordinary.
