Crash the Plane… or Save Your Family? Read our Review of Falling by T.J. Newman

You just boarded a flight to New York.

There are one hundred and forty-three other passengers onboard.

What you don’t know is that thirty minutes before the flight your pilot’s family was kidnapped.

For his family to live, everyone on your plane must die.

The only way the family will survive is if the pilot follows his orders and crashes the plane.

Enjoy the flight…

T.J. Newman wasn’t always a writer. Following in her family’s footsteps, she became a flight attendant and spent years flying around the world. This is where her idea for Falling came from, and what an idea it turned out to be. Selling the book for a seven-figure deal, Newman has started off her writing career with a bang. The film rights have also been bought, and I can definitely see this story being transformed into an explosive blockbuster hit.

Falling starts off with a simple premise: a pilot must crash a plane or his family dies. But what Newman does from there is spectacular. The high impact action scenes hit hard and fast, leaving your head spinning as you try to figure out what just happened.

The tension slowly builds from the get-go as everyone in the plane starts to figure out what’s happening. Newman depicts this atmosphere vividly; As you’re reading, you’ll feel sick with anxiety – in the best way possible.

For those of you who don’t enjoy flying, this will read like a horror story. But for readers who don’t mind flying, this is one truly gripping read, and one of the most high-octane thrillers I’ve read all year. Superb characters, an electrifying plot, and unstoppable action: T.J. Newman’s Falling is one book you won’t want to miss.
