Jack Brand lives in Sydney's Inner West with his partner, Sarah, and two children. He is currently a high school teacher librarian. Before that he was an English teacher, before that a lawyer, and before that a police officer. There were a few less glamorous occupations as well.Jack wrote his first novel while living on an island and caring for his two young children.
