Synopsis

No other words instill fear quite like those uttered daily in households around the country: 'What's for dinner?' The dinner-time struggle is real, but help is HERE, with these life-saving recipes from Australia's lunchbox dad, George Georgievski. Here are 60 fast, fresh and easy dinner ideas, most of which can be whipped up in 30 minutes or less with ingredients that you'll already have in your pantry and fridge.

Whether it's hearty pies, quick ideas with mince, meals with hidden veggies for the kids, simple pasta and rice dishes, or the whole chapter devoted to pimping up a supermarket roast chook, this book will help you create fast dinners the whole family will devour. There are also time-saving hacks and tips to help you get prepared for the week ahead. And it wouldn't be a book from the School Lunchbox Dad without a host of ideas for how to turn your dinner into an awesome adults or kids lunch the next day.

This book is the ultimate solution for busy people and families who want to cook more homemade meals but are struggling to find the time or inspiration. Dinner Express will help you get healthy, home-cooked food on the table faster, every night of the week.

About the author

George Georgievski

George Georgievski's lunchbox creations have captivated people all over the world, with American Express Magazine crowning him the 'most inspiring lunch creator in the world'. Known as 'the school lunchbox dad', George is an engaged parent to two daughters. He is a prankster and an unashamed daggy 'dad joker', who has taken to social media to share his inspirational bento-style lunchbox creations. It all began when George took on the responsibility of preparing school lunches for his daughters each day. After searching for great lunch hacks online and finding there wasn't much out there, he began creating his own 'dad-hacks' and recipes and sharing them across his social media channels. Before he knew it, he had an engaged following of more than 130,000 on Instagram and 75,000 on Facebook, and was being asked to present his lunchbox ideas at baby and kids expos across Australia. George is the author of the bestselling Lunchbox Express and an Australian ambassador for Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food, which aims to transform the health and wellbeing of communities across Australia.
