They write picture books (including the smash-hit series Bin Chicken) as well as bestselling junior fiction. Kate also writes her own middle-grade dark fantasy series. Their work is hilarious, playful, outrageous and full of heart. Kate and Jol live in Sydney. When they are not writing books, they love getting out to schools and festivals to talk to kids about the pleasure of reading and inspire the next generation of young writers.

Shiloh Gordon has a passion for creating lively, engaging illustrations that are full of character and fun. He graduated with a BA in animation from the Queensland College of Art and has worked as a professional illustrator for over 20 years. Shiloh lives in Brisbane with his wife and three kids, who are an endless source of fun and inspiration.
