‘Cleave goes for the gold and brings it home in his thrillingly written and emotionally rewarding novel about the world of professional cycling’ – Publishers Weekly

Gold pushes the limits of human endurance, both physical and emotional, and follows the stories of three elite athletes as they train, compete, and come to terms with some of life’s greater battles in the months leading up to the Olympic Games.

Fans of Cleave’s previous award-winning books Incendiary and The Other Hand (Little Bee in the US) won’t be disappointed in this fast-paced story that is about much more than just cycling.
