The highly anticipated memoir of Malala Yousafzai, the brave school girl from Pakistan who stood up to the Taliban. In 2009 Malala began writing an anonymous blog for BBC Urdu about life in the Taliban controlled Swat Valley that had banned girls from attending school. When her identity was discovered, Malala began to appear in media as an advocate for education. On 9 October 2012, Malala was shot at point-blank range by the Taliban on her way home from school and remarkably survived.

I Am Malala tells her inspiring story and of her continuing campaign for every girl’s right to an education.
