About the author

Bahar Etminan

Business innovator, beauty insider, connector of the dots, and supporter of successful women everywhere, Bahar Etminan is an ideas woman. She likes small ideas, she loves big wild ideas and she assembles the right line-up of talent to make them happen. In past lives Bahar has been a CEO (of cosmetics industry powerhouse Brandmakers), the general manager of luxury importer BMI (where she reigned over the luxury timepieces division and labels like Gucci, Hugo Boss, Bell & Ross, Fendi, Swiss Army and Movado) and the youngest ever general manager at Bobbi Brown and Origins in Australia. Then, she launched Australia’s first distributor owned beauty e-tailer, rescu.com.au.  That was 2005.  Since then, Rescu as evolved into a pure publishing powerhouse, putting expertise from the best minds in beauty, lifestyle, fashion, wellbeing, career and finance at your fingertips. She still enjoys a gloss-up (tune in for her Editor Loves every Sunday) but Bahar’s main focus is putting brilliant ideas together with top-notch people. She wants you to tap in, skill up, empower yourself and live a fabulous life – that’s what Rescu is all about.
