For artist Sally Spratt, it has been a case of draw what you love – with her passion for illustration flourishing into a beautiful career.Sally is the creative behind The Lust List, a collection of illustrations that has become as luxurious and aspirational as the products that inspired its beginnings. The Lust List began in 2013 as an Instagram account that Sally created to share lifelike drawings of things, she coveted but couldn’t have, from glamorous shoes and must-have handbags to runway fashion, cult beauty products and sparkling jewels. Now, with over 120k followers, Sally has become one of Australia’s most in-demand illustrators and creative influencers. Sally’s work is rich in detail, colour and playfulness and has adorned everything from full-scale murals to custom packaging on beauty products. She has also illustrated items including yoga mats, shower caps, tote bags, notebooks, postcards, larger-than-life cut-outs, coffee cups as well as creating stop-motion style animations using her drawings. Sophia the Show Pony is Sally’s first children’s book.
