                      1. Devis1 says:

My grandma joined a casual lunch group at her local library a few years back after moving to a smaller town—started as just coffee and sandwiches, turned into weekly meetups where folks swapped stories and recipes. Seeing her light up talking about new friends reminded me how those simple gatherings fill quiet spaces. The Silver Lonely Lunch Club idea feels spot-on for that kind of connection. While flipping through old local papers, came across a piece in the Waco Tribune Herald about similar community spots. Warm, relatable read.
