You Can Now Buy Books Through the Better Reading Website

We regularly receive emails and messages asking for easy buy options for the books we review. Ask and you shall receive. The Better Reading website is now also a place where you can buy books.

We love independent bookstores and libraries and encourage you to support them in every way you can. However, if you’re buying online, you can do so here with the click of a button, using our affiliate program.

So, what does this mean and how does it work? When reading articles or browsing books on our site, you will see links to buy the book through our retail partners: Booktopia, Amazon, iTunes, Big W and Bolinda Audiobooks. If you want to buy the book, you can click on any of these buttons to be taken directly to the site of your choice.

Our links to Booktopia, Amazon and iTunes are affiliate links – this means that if you use the link and decide to purchase the book, Better Reading will make a small commission for directing you there (at no extra cost to you!).

Does this mean we’re a bookstore? Not at all. We continue to be the best place to find your next great read, with reviews, author events, and podcasts. But by adding an affiliate program to our site, it helps support our costs, so we can continue to do this. If you choose to buy books online, we appreciate you using our affiliate links.

This is a wonderful idea. I’ve managed to buy some of your recommended books through Big W, QBD Book shop & Dymocks Book Shop. I love your posts. I’ve even recommended your website to my grown up Daughters.

Hi, I’m a new author of a children’s book called “Shortstop’s Garden Adventure” and I’m interested in selling it through your site if possible.
The story is about a gnome abandoned in a backyard until a new family moves in, and a boy and his dog discover the gnome (Shortstop) in the long grass.
Then begins an unbelievable adventure for Shortstop that sees him become happy, troubled, and happy again after Shortstop’s friend catches a mystery intruder in his backyard.
Shortstop meets lots of different animals, including bob-tail goannas, frogs, Honeyeaters, and chooks around the backyard during his adventure, and children will love and learn from his adventure.
My wife and 12 year old grandson did the illustrations and it was published and printed in Australia.
Here is a link to my webpage with more information and a short slideshow to show some of the illustrations.
