The Better Reading Podcast Platform is Growing!

Here at Better Reading, there’s nothing we love more than talking about books. We could do it all day… and we do!

That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the expansion of the Better Reading podcast platform.

First of all, for fans of our original podcast, don’t worry! Stories Behind the Story isn’t going anywhere. With over 1.3 million downloads, our flagship podcast continues to go from strength to strength. Cheryl has hosted amazing guests, including Elizabeth Gilbert, Dr David Sinclair, Isabel Allende, George Saunders, Dawn French, Nigella Lawson, Matthew McConaughey, Miriam Margolyes, Dr Michael Mosley, Neil Gaiman, and many, many more.

In addition to Stories Behind the Story, we already have a special ‘What Are You Reading?‘ podcast series that we run in summer, providing extra reading inspiration in the months you need it most. We also recently launched ‘Book Chat‘, where Cheryl Akle and Caroline Overington discuss book and industry news, authors… and maybe even a little gossip. This launch proved what we already suspected: that our audience loves conversations about books.

Now, we’re very excited to launch ‘BE Better‘, hosted by Jane Tara! We know that many of you are looking for strong non-fiction titles that fall into the wellness and self-care genres. The podcast will focus on books written by experts to inspire, educate, and empower readers. BE Better is more than just a self-help podcast: Jane will be zeroing in on each author’s book, asking probing questions to unpack how it can really help its readers.

What we love about our audience is that you’re all such diverse readers. With our latest expansion, we hope there will be something for everyone on our podcast platform.
