Have you ever wanted to join a book club?

Well, now it’s super easy – you’re invited to join The Better Reading Book Club Live with Cheryl Akle and special guests every month without even leaving home.

On the last Wednesday of every month, at 8pm, we’re launching our live, interactive book club where you can join in the passionate conversation about books. We’ll be choosing a book that we know you’ll want to talk about and we’ll be selecting some very special guests to join us each month.

So don’t miss the chance to have your say… From your own lounge room, sit down, relax, grab a drink and join Better Reading’s large and lively Facebook community for this world first.

Around the start of each month we’ll announce a great book that you can buy, beg or borrow, read and discuss. BYO wine, coffee or tea and feel free to wear your PJs – you can see us, but we can’t see you!

Cheryl, along with our guests, will be doing the talking, but we’d love to see your comments throughout on our Facebook page and we’ll try to address as many as we can during our discussion. It’s really simple, you just visit our Facebook at 8pm on the last Wednesday of each month and you can make comments as you would on any other Facebook post.

We’d love to hear what you think of our chosen book – let us know even if you don’t think it’s such a great book and maybe you’d like to suggest a book for future selection? We’re all for everyone having their say and we intend to include many different kinds of books. All you need is to read the book and bring your thoughts.

Just wanted to thank you for last night’s Book Club session on Facebook discussing ‘My Brilliant Friend’. It was great to hear what your panelists had to say about the novel, and to interact with all the other participants and see their thoughts and opinions. You also made a real effort to reply to people’s comments and make it a really interactive ‘discussion’. Thanks, I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one (have already read ‘All The Light We Cannot See’ – Loved it!)

    1. Better Reading Post author

Wow, what lovely feedback – that means a lot to us. Thank you Karen, we’re so glad you enjoyed the evening! We look forward to having you as part of the club again next month 🙂 All the best, Beth and the BR team.
