The Art and Whimsy of Mo Willems

A little while ago, Beth from Better Reading Kids visited an exhibit of Mo Willem’s artwork in New York City. Mo is the author and illustrator behind hilarious picture books like Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Knuffle Bunny and Elephant and Piggie! The exhibit had early drafts and sketches from his works, with information on his inspiration and writing process. And of course there was a bus-shaped reading area for children to enjoy some of their favourites.
