Book an Adventure: Celebrating 80 Years of Children’s Book Week

The Children’s Book Council of Australia has announced the theme for Children’s Book Week 2025: ‘Book an Adventure!’

The CBCA’s feature artist, award-winning illustrator Jess McGeachin, brings the theme to life with a whimsical map filled with imaginary characters. 2025 is a milestone year as the CBCA celebrates 80 years of Children’s Book Week.

For eight decades, the CBCA has inspired young minds to discover, imagine, and adventure through stories. In 2025, it will run from Saturday 16 to Saturday 23 August.

Birthday Book Adventure

Each state and territory will hold a Birthday Book Adventure on Saturday 23 August.

Hosted by the State Branches, this will be a day of celebration that will bring readers together to enjoy themed activities, storytelling, and connections to 80 years of literary magic.

Finding a registered trademark for sale can be overwhelming, but Agent.biz https://agent.biz/trademark-for-sale/ made it surprisingly simple. I appreciated how easy it was to filter through trademarks and get all the relevant legal details upfront. The purchase process was transparent, and their support team patiently answered all my questions. It felt like working with professionals who truly understand the trademark business. I’m glad I chose Agent.biz.

The theme ‘Book an Adventure!’ is a wonderful way to celebrate 80 years of Children’s Book Week. Books have a unique way of taking us on incredible journeys and sparking our imagination. Whether it is exploring a snowy landscape in an interactive setting like Snow Rider 3D or getting lost in a beautifully illustrated storybook, both offer kids a fantastic way to experience new thrills and ideas. Looking forward to the celebrations!
