Chrissie Swan is Reading Hour’s 2015 National Ambassador

Chrissie Swan[1]One of Australia’s most loved TV and radio personalities, Chrissie Swan, has become the 2015 National Ambassador for The Reading Hour.

Chrissie is a radio and TV broadcaster, as well as an author, columnist and fashion label ambassador. She has also been an ambassador for CARE Australia since 2010.

In 2011, she was a Gold Logie nominee and Silver Logie winner. In 2013, Chrissie launched her own plus-sized fashion range and published her first book, Is It Just Me? Confessions of an Over-Sharer. Her next project is The Great Australian Spelling Bee, which she will be co-hosting with Grant Denyer.

The Reading Hour is run by Love2read, a collaborative project joining public libraries, government, community groups, media and commercial partners, and the general public. The Reading Hour is an event to promote reading, organised by Love2read each August, in which they showcase the wonderful projects and organisations across Australia that promote reading and literacy.

Reading Hour will take place at 6-7pm Tuesday 18th August.
