Kate Leaver joins Cheryl on the podcast to talk about her new book, The Friendship Cure, an exploration of the art and science of friendship. The book believes that friendship is the essential cure for our current loneliness epidemic. They discuss the impact that friendship has on the rest of our life, having a stronger link to physical wellbeing than quitting smoking, obesity, or exercise.

She was previously features editor at Cosmopolitan Australia and senior editor at Mamamia, plus a regular commentator on ABC, Studio 10, The Today Show and Triple J Radio.
