‘Who wants to go to the beach for a swim?’ said Dad.

‘Me!’ said Mum.

‘Cool!’ said Alex.

‘Sandcastles!’ said Daisy.

‘I can’t,’ said Katie. ‘I have a wobbly tooth.’

‘That tooth is really ready to come out,’ said Dad. ‘Are you sure you don’t want me to pull it out?’

‘NO!’ said Katie.

‘Your wobbly tooth can come too!’ said Dad. ‘Wobbly teeth love going for a swim. Grab your things, everyone. Last one to the lift is a rotten egg!’

Lucia Masciullo grew up in Livorno, Tuscany. She moved to Australia in 2007 and since then she has been happily working as an illustrator. She now lives on the Gold Coast.
