A Christmas Donation From the Better Reading Team

Food For Farmers – North Coast Drought Appeal

We have made a donation on behalf of our Better Reading community to Food For Farmers – North Coast Drought Appeal. Run by a group of powerhouse women volunteers, they send hampers, toiletries and toys, as well as fodder and water to farmers doing it tough in drought, in areas such as Bourke, Walgett, Brewarrina, Collarenebri, Mungindi, Lightning Ridge and Coonamble. Recently, they have been delivering urgent supplies to families affected by the fires, including Christmas gifts for children.
