  1. Write the book you want to read, not the book you think they want you to publish.
  2. Don’t edit yourself until it’s time to edit.
  3. If you stop writing after you are rejected, you never know what will happen.
  4. If you keep writing after you are rejected, you never know what will happen.
  5. Write with your whole heart.
