Better Reading went to Canberra!

Last week, Better Reading visited our nation’s capital to chat with Canberra writers and readers!

We chatted live via Facebook with Sally Thorne, Robert Macklin and more…

Did you miss some of our live interviews? Don’t worry – we have the list of authors and links below for you to catch up on!

L.J.M. Owen: author of the wonderful novel Olmec Obituary and more recently Mayan Mendacity.

Sally Thorne: was a public servant when she wrote a book for a friend, never intending it to be published. The book – a sexy comedy The Hating Game – was picked up by a New York agent and the rest, as they say, is history.

Robert Macklin: author of over 26 books about Australian history. His latest is a fascinating insight into the life of the Australian explorer in Hamilton Hume: Our Greatest Explorer.

Anthony Hill: was a journalist and speech writer before turning his pen to historical non-fiction and most famously, Soldier Boy. We’re talking to him about his latest book, Young Digger.
